Advocacy and Representation

We protect the rights of fashion designers and serve as a strong and visible voice for the industry.

We contribute to the development of professional standards and represent the value of design at national and international levels.

We value creating a shared language of representation for the industry in order to make the creative, economic and cultural value of fashion design more visible.

We aim to bring designers’ needs regarding production, branding, contracts, visibility and professional rights onto the industry agenda.

We develop initiatives to strengthen the definition of the fashion design profession in Türkiye, protect the value of design work and increase professional awareness.

We aim to create shared platforms of representation so that young, independent and experienced designers can participate in the industry in a more equal, visible and sustainable way.

We contribute to making the strategic role of fashion design within culture, art, the economy, exports and the creative industries clearer and stronger in the eyes of the public.

Industry Perspectives and Policy Recommendations

We develop perspectives that help shape the future of the industry in areas such as the creative economy and sustainable fashion.

We develop strategies that support design-driven production and exports.

By following the needs of the fashion design industry, changing production models and global trends, we aim to formulate recommendations that can be shared with relevant institutions.

We contribute to the development of shared industry thinking in areas such as sustainability, the circular economy, digital transformation, local production and ethical supply chains.

We work to identify the areas in which designers need support regarding collection development, brand management, digital visibility and preparation for international markets.

We develop views and recommendations so that fashion design is considered not merely as the final stage of production, but as a strategic element that creates added value.

To ensure that designers’ voices are heard more strongly in decision-making processes concerning the industry’s future, we adopt an approach based on data, experience and the contributions of industry stakeholders.

Public and Institutional Collaborations

We establish collaborations with public institutions, universities and industry stakeholders, particularly the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association.

Through fashion weeks, fairs and projects, we increase the global visibility of Turkish fashion design.

We value developing design-focused joint initiatives with public institutions, professional organizations, exporters’ associations, universities, cultural institutions and private-sector representatives.

We aim to build bridges among the different actors in the industry so that designers can take a stronger position on national and international platforms.

We believe in the importance of multi-stakeholder models in education, mentorship, international promotion, sustainability and business development.

Through relationships with universities and young designers, we aim to create opportunities that support the transition from fashion design education to professional life.

We develop collaborations that make the creative strength of Turkish fashion design visible through fashion weeks, exhibitions, panels, workshops, curated selections and digital platforms.

By bringing Istanbul’s cultural, historical and production-based heritage together with designers, institutions and international stakeholders, we contribute to strengthening Türkiye’s representation in the field of fashion design.
